Youth Charity Programme Engages Community in Cleanup Initiative.

Tutong: The Department of Youth and Sports, Tutong District Branch, organized a Youth Charity Programme featuring a Cleaning Campaign in the Playground Area of the Bukit Bruang National Housing Scheme in Tutong District. This initiative was part of the Action Day Campaign, aligning with the International Volunteer Day Celebration observed annually on December 5th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the campaign saw participation from Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohamad Danial @ Tekpin bin Ya’akub, a member of the Legislative Council. The event was a collaborative effort between the Mukim Telisai Consultative Council and the Bukit Beruang National Housing Scheme, drawing in youth, villagers, and mukim residents. One of the primary objectives was to boost the involvement of the Mukim and Village Consultative Council in community-centric activities.
