World Pharmacy Day Celebration

?Pharmacy is the trusted source of information for patients, answering questions about medications and guiding patients on how to manage their medication, medical devices and their health. The Minister of Health outlined the matter during the World Pharmacy Day Celebration held on 18th October morning, at Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar as Chairman and Executive Director of Jerudong Park Medical Centre, JPMC added that the celebration is to appreciate pharmacy’s dedication in ensuring patient safety and excellent care. Also touched upon, this year’s theme ‘Meeting Global Health Needs.”

Organised by the Pharmacy Department, JPMC, the event was held to appreciate the role of pharmacy in ensuring patient safety and excellent care. In addition, it also aims to raise awareness on the role, responsibility and expertise of pharmacy experts and professionals to ensure a better health.
