Water Supply Disruptions in Belait District, Brunei

Residents in several areas of the Belait District in Brunei experienced water supply disruptions or low water pressure on the night of 8th December. The areas affected include Mukim Kuala Belait, Mukim Kuala Balai, and Kampung Panaga, Seria.

According to Radio Television Brunei, The Public Works Department, in a press release, stated that the disruptions were due to the replacement of a Butterfly Valve at Simpang 66, G10 Seria, starting from 9 pm until the completion of the work. Residents in need of water tanker services were advised to contact Talian Darussalam 123.
