The Vice President of the People’s Republic of China and delegation made a series of visits today. In the morning, the delegation visited the Muara Port Company, reflecting the importance of continuous cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and China, apart from sharing the development of the nation’s maritime sector.

Upon arrival, His Excellency Han Zheng was greeted by Doctor Dayang Hajah May Fa’ezah binti Haji Ahmad Ariffin, Permanent Secretary for Economy, Trade and Industry at the Ministry of Finance and Economy. Among the areas visited were the Cruise Ship Terminal, as well as the rice and sugar warehouses that use a new innovative system.

In the afternoon, His Excellency and delegation continued the visit to the Brunei History Centre in the capital. The delegation was welcomed by Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

This was followed by a visit to the Royal Regalia Museum. The delegation took a closer loo
k at several exhibitions including the Royal Exhibition and the Silver Jubilee Exhibition.
