Temburong: The product of Kampung Menengah Consultative Council, Temburong District attracted the attention of the Association of Retired Education Service Officers of Papar District, Sabah. The visitors had the opportunity to view the beads handicraft at one of the resident’s homes. Besides providing the opportunity to learn about products in villages in the country, the visit also aimed to encourage the residents of Kampung Menengah to enhance the quality of their products, as well as increasing the village’s economic activities.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the delegation from Papar District was particularly intrigued by the craftsmanship and creativity displayed in the local beadwork. This visit not only highlighted the cultural significance of the beads handicraft but also underscored the potential for economic development through the promotion of local artisanship.
