UNISSA’S Academic Strengthening Efforts, Catalyst for Ummah Development

Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali, UNISSA’s efforts to strengthen the existing academic programme, to be in line with international standards and current requirements, have raised the achievements of the institution and received recognition from The World University Rankings for Innovation, WURI. According to the UNISSA Director of Strategic Planning and Development Office, the achievement encourages UNISSA to ensure the quality of education offered and become a catalyst for ummah development. UNISSA, he added, also continues to strive and strengthen the identity of graduates through programmes and activities carried out as well as enculturing of integrity in higher education institutions.

According to Dr. Muhamad Alif Bin Haji Sismat, UNISSA through the Strategic Planning and Development Office is striving to obtain accreditation to give added value to the existing programmes. Apart from that, various internalisation programmes are actively carried out such as the student mobility programme, as well as col
laborations with overseas institutions in innovative and high impact research and production.
