Tree Planting Event Marks 40th Anniversary of PUJA Brunei.

Bandar Seri Begawan: In commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Surveyors, Engineers and Architects Association, PUJA Brunei, 40 saplings were planted during a tree planting event at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas, 9th November morning. The event symbolised support towards PUJA’s 40 years of legacy, aside from promoting environmental sustainability in the country.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Dayang Hajah Norhayati binti Haji Mohd Yaakub, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Development, emphasised the importance of sustainable development and being responsible for the environment. The event was a collaboration between PUJA and the Department of Environment, Park, and Recreation, JASTRe, to protect and expand the country’s green space, aside from contributing towards preserving forest and city parks.
