Tree Planting Campaign

10 tree saplings were planted during the Tree Planting Campaign in conjunction with the 54th Anniversary of the Renaming of Bandar Brunei to Bandar Seri Begawan. The campaign was held on 19th October afternoon, around Jalan Residency, Bandar Seri Begawan.

The launch was officiated by Awang Abdul Walid bin Haji Matassan, Permanent Secretary for Municipality and District at the Ministry of Home Affairs. Besides as an effort towards supporting Brunei Darussalam’s National Climate Change Policy to the Green Protocol Guidelines, the campaign was also hoped to foster public awareness on the need to have a clean environment throughout the country.
