Tilawah Al-Qur’an Musabaqah Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Kampung Manggis/Madang Mosque.

Bandar seri begawan: The Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kampung Manggis/Madang hosted a Tilawah Al-Qur’an Musabaqah as part of its 10th Anniversary celebrations. The event was held at the mosque on the morning of 2nd November.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, presented the prizes to the winners. The musabaqah saw the participation of 7 male and 3 female contestants from mosques in Mukim Berakas A and B. In the male category, Awang Ahmad Termizie bin Ahmad Baihakie from IBTE Sultan Saiful Rijal Surau emerged victorious. In the female category, Dayangku Alya Syahirah Binti Pengiran Haji Jofri from Mohamad Bolkiah Mosque, Kampung Serusop, took the top honors.
