Symposium Commemorating Diplomatic Relations.

BERAKAS: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Brunei Darussalam organised a symposium titled “Oman-Brunei Relations: A Thriving Present and Promising Future” to commemorate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Sultanate of Oman. The event also marked the Sultanate’s participation in the Brunei Book Festival 2024. The symposium took place this morning at the Indoor Stadium, Hassanal Bolkiah Sports Complex in Berakas.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was graced by the presence of Her Excellency Erma Said Al Kathiry, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam, and Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The symposium provided a platform for participants to exchange ideas on potential collaboration in education, arts, tourism, and related fields.
