The Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Muraqib Unit conducted a Workshop on Strengthening the Principles of Maqasid Syar’iah in Management and Administration. The workshop was held yesterday morning at the Centre of Lifelong Learning, Lambak Kanan National Housing Scheme.
The workshop was attended by 60 officers from the Ministry of Education and its departments and educational institutions under it. Among the objectives of the workshop was to evaluate the coherence and effectiveness of the management and administration of the Ministry based on the principles of Maqasid Syari’ah for the need to establish the Maqasid Syari’ah Index of Brunei Darussalam. The workshop was facilitated by Doctor Haji Noralizam bin Haji Aliakbar, Dean of the Faculty of Syariah, Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College.
