Single Mother Empowerment Project Launched to Support Unemployed Mothers.

Kampung Kiulap: A new initiative aimed at assisting unemployed single mothers was unveiled with the launch of the ‘Memperkasa Ibu Tunggal’ Project on the morning of November 30th at a hotel in Kampung Kiulap. The project is designed to alleviate the financial burdens faced by single mothers in supporting their families and dependents.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the launch was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dayang Hajah Rosmawatty binti Haji Abdul Momin, a member of the Legislative Council. This initiative is part of a Community Outreach Project under the Executive Development Programme for Senior Government Officers Cohort 31, organized by the Civil Service Institute. The project aims not only to provide financial relief but also to create job opportunities tailored to the abilities of single mothers, offering positions in companies that support flexible working hours.
