The Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Halal Food Control Division, Syariah Affairs Department made an inspection on 'Skitto Clean' brand cleaning brushes sold at one of the business premises in the country following complaints from the public.
Based on information obtained from the Department of Scientific Services, Ministry of Health, found that the 'Skitto Clean' cleaning brushes were made from pig bristles. Therefore, the manager of the premise was ordered to immediately withdraw the items from public display. The Ministry of Religious Affairs reminded business owners, managers, retailers, suppliers and importers of products in the country to be alert and aware of products sold to the public.
