Russian Embassy in Brunei Hosts Special Concert of Classical Music.

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Russian Embassy in Brunei Darussalam organised a special concert of classical music performed by talented young musicians from Brunei Darussalam on the afternoon of November 14th. The event aimed to celebrate cultural exchange and strengthen the ties between Russia and Brunei Darussalam.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the concert was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, who is the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence. In his opening speech, His Excellency Mikhail Vladimirovich Baranov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Brunei Darussalam, highlighted that the concert was intended to demonstrate that while Russia and Brunei Darussalam may be geographically distant, culture serves as a bridge that unites the people of both nations and fosters a sense of shared community.
