Royal Brunei Armed Forces Holds ‘Sentuhan Kasih Ramadhan’ Event for Orphans

SURAU AL-BARAKAH, RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) hosted the annual ‘Sentuhan Kasih Ramadhan’ event on the morning of March 29, aimed at commemorating the contributions of departed RBAF personnel and providing support to their families. This year’s gathering was held at Surau Al-Barakah, located at the Rimba Air Force Base, and focused on easing the burden of orphans as they prepare for Hari Raya Aidil Fitri.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of RBAF, alongside Datin Ummisyafinah binti Haji Zaini, President of the RBAF Wives Welfare Association (BAKTI), presented donations to 122 orphans from 66 families of the deceased RBAF personnel. The funds for these donations were collected through the RBAF Welfare Fund, contributions from RBAF personnel, BAKTI, and various suraus, reflecting a collective effort to bring joy and relief to the families affected by the loss of their loved ones.
