Development will not be complete without harmony in society. One of the village head’s duties includes building strong bonds between villagers, encouraging cooperation and understanding the diversity that exists across various ethnic groups.

Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer at the Kampung Batu Apoi Village Head’s Certificate Presentation Ceremony said that as a village leader, the role is not only to take care of the welfare of the villagers, but also to help develop the economy. Awang Haji Mumtaz bin Haji Yaakub was elected as Head of Kampung Batu Apoi. Also present was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, a Member of the Legislative Council.
