Philippine Football Federation Announces Squad for FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

MANILA — The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) has unveiled a 26-man player pool set to participate in the upcoming November window of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

According to Philippines News Agency, the PFF on Wednesday, the selection includes a combination of seasoned players and emerging talents. The team, known as the Azkals, will be entering matches against Vietnam on November 16 and Indonesia on November 21 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila. In anticipation of these matches, the PFF has initiated the “10K Strong” campaign to draw significant fan support, aiming to fill the stadium with at least 10,000 spectators. Coach Michael Weiss underscored the importance of fan support and expressed confidence in the team’s prospects for the qualifiers.
