‘Operasi Badai Taduh’

The Ministry of Defence deployed the second Humanitarian and Disaster Relief, HADR Team to Manila, Republic of the Philippines, 30th October 2024.

The deployment of the second Royal Brunei Armed Forces RBAF HADR team was held at the Air Movement Centre, Rimba Air Force Base. Present at the ceremony was Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the RBAF. Also in attendance were Members of the RBAF Executive Committee, Bernadette A. Mendoza, Chargé d’affaires from the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines to Brunei Darussalam. The second team comprise 20 personnel boarding two Royal Brunei Air Force Blackhawk S-70I helicopters.
