Nationwide Muallaf Gathering Marks Ruby Jubilee.

Bandar Seri Begawan: The 2nd Nationwide Muallaf Gathering saw the participation of 200 new converts from across all districts, organized at the Islamic Da’wah Centre. This event was part of the celebrations for the centre’s Ruby Jubilee, with activities held on the afternoon of November 3rd under the theme ‘Sinar Da’wah 40 Tahun di Negara Zikir.’

According to Radio Television Brunei, the gathering was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs. A special talk addressing the mental health challenges faced by muallaf was a key feature of the event, emphasizing the importance of strengthening faith and maintaining gratitude.

In addition to the discussions, the event also included the launch of the ‘Mudahnya Mendirikan Sembahyang’ Scan Card by the Minister of Religious Affairs. The primary objective of the gathering was to enhance the participants’ understanding of Is
