Miscellaneous Offences Act

?Several individuals were issued compound fines for violating the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021, Chapter 30, Section 12(1)(a).

Nur Afifah binti Norazman and Siti Rabi’atul Nor Rafhanah @ Michel binti Omarali were each fined one hundred dollars by the Licensing and Enforcement Section, Brunei Muara District Office. If in default, the case will be brought to the court.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Unit, Belait District Office issued a four hundred dollar compound fine to an individual during a monitoring operation carried out at several areas under its purview.

The public are reminded to adhere to the regulation and laws in the country, in together maintaining the cleanliness of the area and the environment by disposing waste material at stipulated areas.
