His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah stresses that mental illness must be addressed by stakeholders in the country, following the rising number of people receiving treatment, which is of a concern. A healthy mind, His Majesty stresses, is necessary for a person to manage emotions and enjoy life. His Majesty stressed the matter in a titah in conjunction with the Knowledge Convention 2024, 18th September morning. His Majesty began the titah by expressing gratitude towards Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala as by His blessings and grace, to be together at the Knowledge Convention which is full of blessings.?
