Referring to complaints received on the water supply disruptions in Kampung Mentiri, Kampung Kapok and surrounding areas, the Public Works Department informed that the water supply is gradually building up in the tanks after repair works on leaking pipes were completed on 13th September 2024. But it will take time to fully recover.
While recovery is in place, the public can obtain water supply from the blue tanks provided at several locations.
The department assured that various efforts are being implemented to ensure that the water supply will be restored at the areas affected.
