Launching Ceremony of 13th PKBN Intake Highlights Youth Empowerment.
Temburong: The National Service Programme, known as PKBN, reaffirmed its role in empowering youth identity during the launch of its 13th intake. The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports emphasized its relevance and effectiveness at the ceremony held on the morning of November 27 at the PKBN Training Camp in Batu Apoi, Temburong. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad announced the introduction of new training modules designed to educate various societal levels and enhance understanding from religious and spiritual perspectives.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the new modules align with the goal of fostering an inclusive and caring community, while also exposing trainees to religious knowledge and contemporary issues. The PKBN program aims to develop youth who are excellent, responsible, and disciplined through volunteerism, youth development, and identity formation.
The event also featured a presentation of certificates to 15 alumni who completed the 1st Series of the Train-
the-Trainers Programme, demonstrating PKBN’s commitment to continuous growth and development in its training offerings.
