Launch of 4th Cohort

The Academy for Women Entrepreneurs, AWE in Brunei Darussalam launched its fourth cohort by welcoming 27 selected women entrepreneurs. The event took place at i-Centre in Kampung Anggerek Desa, 18th October morning.

The inauguration was officiated by Katherine Ntiamoah, United States Embassy Public Affairs Officer. Participants will undergo a two-month training using DreamBuilder, an online learning platform developed by Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management. The platform covers 13 essential business modules, focusing on key areas such as business planning, financial literacy and marketing strategies. The global initiative, spearheaded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs aims to enhance economic opportunities for women through entrepreneurship in more than 100 countries worldwide.
