Korean Festival 2024 Celebrates Culture and Cuisine at Times Square Shopping Centre

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — The Korean Festival 2024 is currently underway at the Times Square Shopping Centre, offering a vibrant showcase of Korean culture, cuisine, and traditional games, continuing until tomorrow.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the festival was launched on the evening of August 3rd in a ceremony officiated by Doctor Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Acting Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. His Excellency Kim Soung-eun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam, was also present. The three-day event, a collaborative effort between the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and Times Square Shopping Centre, features a variety of activities including cooking classes and demonstrations of traditional Korean games, designed to engage and educate attendees about Korean heritage and lifestyle.
