Islamic Photography Exhibition Showcases ‘Al-Jamal’ at Kampung Telisai Mosque.


Tutong: Twelve captivating photographs are on display at the Islamic Photography Mini Exhibition, which is being held at the Kampung Telisai Mosque in the Tutong District. Organized by the Kampung Telisai Consultative Council in collaboration with the Kampung Telisai Mosque Takmir Committee, the exhibition is part of the Da’wah and Information Committee’s efforts and will be open to the public until Thursday, the 28th of November.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the exhibition, themed ‘Al-Jamal’, aims to highlight the beauty of Islam through the lens of talented photographers. Nine photographers from Mukim Telisai and the surrounding community have contributed their works, emphasizing the use of art to convey the teachings and aesthetics of Islam. This initiative is part of a broader da’wah effort, utilizing Islamic photography methods to communicate the essence and beauty of the faith.

The exhibition not only serves as a platform for local photographers to display their art but also functions as a cu
ltural and educational event for the community. Visitors are encouraged to explore the visual representations of Islamic beauty and engage with the artists’ interpretations of the theme.
