Individual Fined for Littering Near Royal Wharf.

Bandar Seri Begawan: An individual has been fined by the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation for improperly disposing of food packages in an area near the Royal Wharf.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Nazim Bin Mohd Atan received a compound fine of $100 for the offence under the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021. He has been given a period of seven days to pay the fine. Failing to settle the fine within the stipulated timeframe could result in him being charged in court.

The incident serves as a reminder to the public and companies to maintain cleanliness and act responsibly to ensure the environment remains unpolluted.
