Bandar Seri Begawan: His Majesty extended congratulations to both serving and retired personnel of the Gurkha Security Unit, along with all parties involved in the successful Golden Jubilee celebration. The Monarch expressed hopes for the continued prosperity of the Gurkha Security Unit.

According to Radio Television Brunei, His Majesty highlighted the significance of the Gurkha Gallery, inaugurated on November 28, 2024. The gallery showcases the history of the Gurkha Reserve Unit from its establishment to the present day. It also features profiles of Gurkha personnel who have been awarded the Victoria Cross, as well as exhibits on Gurkha culture and heritage.
