Halal Compliance Workshop Highlights Roles and Responsibilities of Certificate Holders.

Bangar Town: The Halal Compliance Workshop raises awareness on the roles and responsibilities of Halal Certificate holders. Joined by 40 people from 22 companies holding halal certificates or permits, the two-day workshop took place at the Bumiputra Complex Multipurpose Hall, Bangar Town.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the workshop was organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Halal Food Control Division, Syariah Affairs Department. The workshop included the procedure for obtaining permission from the Brunei Islamic Religious Council for any changes related to the Halal Certificate and the application procedure for renewing the Halal Certificate.
