Financial Assistance Presentation
The victims of disaster received financial assistance from the government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam through the allocation of the Department of Community Development, JAPEM, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
The assistance was presented by Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary for Management, Strategy and Policy, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The recipients were the heads of two families whose house collapsed and 12 heads of families who fell victim to from strong winds or flying roof incidents. Such assistance can alleviate the burden of the victims in order for them to continue their daily lives. The effort shows the government’s concern to citizens and residents who fell victim to disasters.
