The Muslim Ummah in the country continues to take advantage of the days of tasyrik by performing the sacrificial rites. Yesterday morning, the WARGAMAS Association also held a Sacrificial Meat Distribution Ceremony.
The sacrificial meats were distributed by Pehin Orang Kaya Pendikar Alam Dato Paduka Seri Haji Hasrin bin Dato Paduka Haji Sabtu. The recipients comprised 50 of the poor and destitute as well as the WARGAMAS Association Committee and Members.
The Kampung Tanah Jambu Mosque with the cooperation of Kampung Tanah Jambu/ Salar Consultative Council also held such a ceremony. 6 buffaloes were sacrificed and distributed to the poor and destitute recipients as well as the village residents.
The Kampung Bengkurong Mosque Takmir Committee also held the distribution of sacrificial meats to 60 poor and destitute recipients. This year, 6 buffaloes were sacrificed.
The Sacrificial Rites was also organised by the former dormitory of Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien College, Ex-Hostel Boys Group, EHBG. Three buffaloes were sacrificed and distributed to 19 poor and destitute recipients.
