Diplomatic Reception

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in the country held a Diplomatic Reception to commemorate the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. The event took place at a Hotel in Gadong, 23rd October night.

Representing the Government of His Majesty was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunus, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office. His Excellency Achmad Ubaedillah, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the country said that in 40 years of diplomatic relations between Republic of Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, the two countries’ bilateral cooperation have reached a new level, marked by various important events and increasingly deep cooperation. His Excellency’s speech was read by Irwan Iding, Chargé D’affaires Ad Interim, Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in the country.
