CSC awards rites for outstanding gov’t workers set Sept 18
Manila: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will recognize the winners of the 2024 Search for Outstanding Government Workers at Malacañan Palace in Manila on Sept. 18.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will lead the conferment of awards to individual and group winners who have demonstrated exemplary performance, dedication, and innovation in public service.
‘The Awards Rites for the 2024 Outstanding Government Workers is a momentous occasion that highlights the remarkable talent and dedication within our public sector. As we celebrate the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, this event is an opportunity to acknowledge those who embody excellence and to inspire others to uphold the highest standards of service,’ CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles said in a news release.
The annual search honors civil servants who have shown utmost dedication and commitment to their work, as well as inspire other state employees toward deeper involvement in public service.
The three honor awards are Presidential Lingkod B
ayan (Public Servant), Outstanding Public Officials and Employees (Dangal ng Bayan) and CSC Pagasa (Hope).
Six individuals and three groups will be conferred the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award, a recognition granted to those who have made exceptional contributions through innovative ideas or impactful actions of national significance, particularly in the areas of public interest, security, and patrimony.
Meanwhile, 10 individual winners from various government offices will receive the Dangal ng Bayan award for their extraordinary acts of public service and consistent adherence to high ethical standards as outlined in Republic Act No. 6713, or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.
The CSC Pagasa Award, given to an individual or group of individuals for outstanding contributions that directly benefit more than one department of the government will be conferred on eight individuals and one group.
The awards rites will be streamed live via Radio Television Malacañang
