Closure of INCUFEST 2024 with Prestigious Awards Ceremony.

Bandar Seri Begawan: A four-day Universiti Brunei Darussalam Incubation Festival, INCUFEST 2024, concluded with the awards presentation to the Best Exhibitor and Best Innovative Project on 7th November 2024. The awards were presented by Dr. Hazri bin Haji Kifle, UBD Vice Chancellor.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ‘World Dementia Month’ initiative by UBD-Brunei Successful Aging Initiative, viewed from a Social Science perspective, won the Best Exhibitor award. The Best Innovative Projects were awarded to Smart Fresh, Netjaga, Hijrah, and Hasil. INCUFEST 2024 proudly showcased 45 projects developed by UBD’s incubation students, final-year students from the School of Digital Science, and researchers. This festival is part of UBD’s commitment to nurturing local talent, promoting innovation, and supporting entrepreneurship.
