Closing of International Counselling Symposium.
RIMBA: The International Counselling Symposium 2024, a significant platform for fostering knowledge sharing, skill development, and collaboration, concluded with an official closing ceremony. The event, aimed at contributing to national efforts in addressing mental health challenges, spanned three days and ended on the morning of November 14th at the Civil Service Institute in Rimba.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the closing ceremony featured a comprehensive summary of the workshop and key highlights of the symposium, presented by Retired Major Awang Rusli bin Bujang, President of the Brunei Darussalam Counseling Association (PERKAB). Organized by PERKAB, the symposium saw the participation of over 30 individuals, including penghulu, village heads, youth leaders, and representatives from non-governmental organizations, private companies, and government-linked companies. Attendees engaged in knowledge exchange workshops and parallel session discussions with invited panels, enhancing their skills and u
nderstanding of mental health issues.
