Charity Night for Palestinian Humanitarian Fund by Women Graduates’ Association

Bandar Seri Begawan – A Charity Night was organized by the Women Graduates’ Association on December 1st to raise awareness of the humanitarian situation in Gaza. The event, held at the Berkshire Hall, Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club, also aimed to support the Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the sale of roses for Palestine, a key feature of the event, was inaugurated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. Additionally, the night included a sharing session on Palestine’s history and current situation, with insights from His Excellency Professor Doctor Hamit Ersoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye to Brunei Darussalam, and Professor Dato Doctor Haji Zulkifly bin Haji Muda, Dean of the Faculty of Syariah and Law, Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University. Proceeds from the rose sales were dedicated to the humanitarian fund.
