Certificate Presentation Marks the Conclusion of Imam and Bilal Succession Workshop.

Kampung Belimbing: Upholding the country’s desire to produce knowledgeable citizens, who can indirectly prevent the youth from doing useless things, was among the aims of the Imam and Bilal Succession Workshop held for Brunei Muara District Mosque Youth. The workshop was conducted by the Syababul Irsyad Group, Kampung Belimbing, Subok Mosque Youth, and the Youth Affairs Division, Mosque Affairs Department in collaboration with Brunei Muara District Mosque Affairs Office. The Closing Ceremony and Certificates Presentation took place at Kampung Belimbing Mosque, Subok this afternoon.

According to Radio Television Brunei, certificates were presented by Awang Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, Acting Director of Mosque Affairs. The workshop was designed to train participants to be brave in facing the congregants and to educate the youth as a succession of mosque officials. The event also saw the presence of Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Daud bin Jihan and Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat, Members of the Legisl
ative Council.
