Ceremony Honors Royal Brunei Armed Forces Personnel in UNIFIL Peacekeeping Mission

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – A doa kesyukuran ceremony was held on the morning of December 15th to honor 30 Royal Brunei Armed Forces personnel who have been deployed with the Malaysian Battalion 850-10, MALBATT, as part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) peacekeeping mission. The event recognized the significant contributions and sacrifices of these service members in international peacekeeping efforts.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence, was in attendance. The ceremony, held at the surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garrison, featured a Tazkirah titled ‘Pengorbanan Demi Pengorbanan’, followed by a presentation of certificates and a Doa Kesyukuran. This event was a symbolic gesture of appreciation and gratitude towards the personnel for their dedication and service in the UNIFIL mission.
