According to Philippines News Agency, Celtics point guard Jrue Holiday led the scoring with 26 points and added 11 rebounds, contributing significantly to the team's performance.

Jaylen Brown, a forward for the Celtics, contributed 21 points, while teammates Jayson Tatum and Derrick White each scored 18 points. Tatum also made 12 assists in a game that saw the Celtics dominate on their home court. On the Mavericks side, Slovenian star Luka Doncic achieved a triple-double, posting 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. Dallas players P.J. Washington and Kyrie Irving scored 17 and 16 points, respectively.

The finals series now moves to the American Airlines Center in Dallas for the next two games, with the Celtics looking to clinch their 18th NBA championship, a record in the league. The Celtics last won the title in 2008, while the Mavericks' sole championship win was in 2011.
