Celebration of Turkiye’s 101st Republic Anniversary Hosted by Embassy in Brunei.

GADONG: The Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye in Brunei Darussalam organized a reception to mark the 101st Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of Turkiye. The event was held at a hotel in Gadong on the evening of 31st October.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the reception saw the presence of Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, the Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, representing the Government of His Majesty. His Excellency Professor Doctor Hamit Ersoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye to Brunei, highlighted in his remarks that the diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Turkiye have been characterized by mutual respect and solidarity over the past 40 years. The evening concluded with the presentation of certificates to students of the Yunus Emre Institute for completing a Turkish Language Course.
