Caraga Region’s LTO Collects Over Half a Billion Pesos in 2023

BUTUAN CITY — The Land Transportation Office in the Caraga Region (LTO-13) reported a total revenue collection of PHP 543 million for the year 2023, primarily driven by motor vehicle registrations and licensing transactions.

According to Philippines News Agency, speaking at the Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas media forum on Tuesday, the robust revenue figures stemmed from 325,052 motor vehicle registrations that contributed over PHP 400 million, and 378,319 license transactions that added another PHP 129.6 million. Additionally, intensified law enforcement operations throughout the year resulted in 8,691 apprehensions, generating PHP 13.3 million in revenue.

Pangandaman credited the successful revenue performance to improved enforcement and the effective implementation of plans and programs aimed at advancing land transportation and enhancing road safety campaigns. He also highlighted the agency’s strides in digitalizing transaction services, which have streamlined processes for motorists and passengers alike.
