Business Mentorship
Business mentorship is one of the practical methods to support Micro, Small and Medium entrepreneurs, MSME in the country, to be brave in facing challenges. Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, Economy, said, knowledge transfer through mentorship can help contribute to a more productive and vibrant business ecosystem, a key priority under the Brunei Darussalam Economic Blueprint. Dato Seri Paduka Dr. Awang Hj Abd Manaf Hj Metussin stated the matter during a virtual Brunei Mentors for Entrepreneurs Network, B-MEN Appreciation Ceremony which was held recently.
The event was held in conjunction with the establishment of the 3rd B-MEN. 17 B-MEN mentors recently completed a two-day mentoring training sponsored by DARe. Among the activities held were online mentorship and group coaching clinics. DARe is looking to upskill more business mentors as they target to host more than 20 mentoring activities for MSMEs under the B-MEN by March 2023.
