Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam left for a two-day official visit to Bangkok, Thailand, starting from April 28, 2024. The visit marks a significant milestone, celebrating 40 years of diplomatic ties between Brunei and Thailand. Accompanying His Majesty is His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen. Before departing, a prayer ceremony was led by the State Mufti at Istana Nurul Iman.
According to Radio Television Brunei, members of the Royal Family, senior government officials, and military commanders were present at Sultan's Flight Hangar in Rimba to see off His Majesty.
