Brunei’s Economic Future Discussed During Executive Dialogue Session.
Bandar Seri Begawan: The economic status of Brunei Darussalam and strategic plans for national economic development towards achieving Goal Three of Wawasan Brunei 2035 were key topics during an Executive Dialogue Session with the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The session was part of the Civil Service Leadership Pipeline programmes organised by the Civil Service Institute, IPA, featuring the Executive Development Programme for Senior Government Officers Cohort-31, the Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers Cohort-35, and the Young Executive Program Cohort-9.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah discussed the significance of technology and innovation in diversifying and advancing Brunei’s national economy. The dialogue highlighted ongoing initiatives and future plans aimed at economic development. The session sought to provide a comprehensive overview of th
e nation’s economic activities and inspire participants to support and realise Brunei’s ‘Economic Blueprint’. This initiative is particularly focused on empowering future leaders to adapt to the fast-evolving digital landscape. The session saw participation from 78 officers representing various Ministries and Government Departments.
