Brunei Scouts Association Launches Training for ‘Go Solar’ Leaders Challenge
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association has launched a Training of Trainers course as part of the ‘Brunei Scout Go Solar Leaders Challenge’, taking place at the Scouts Association’s Headquarters in Jalan Gadong. The training, which runs until August 7, 2024, aims to bolster the adoption and understanding of solar energy among scouts and the wider community.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Chief Scout Commissioner, who officiated the opening, the Go Solar programme is an international initiative endorsed by the World Scouts Movement. The program is designed to empower scouts by providing them with the knowledge and tools to champion solar energy, reflecting the scouting commitment to environmental stewardship and community leadership.
