Brunei Hosts National Weather Briefing to Enhance Public Preparedness.

Bandar Seri Begawan: The National Weather Briefing, organized by the Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department, took place at the Information Department on the morning of November 21st. The event was attended by 100 representatives from government agencies, the private sector, and the public, aiming to enhance understanding and awareness of current weather conditions in the country.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the briefing aimed to prepare the public for any weather conditions by providing insights into weather patterns, climate, and the long-range forecast outlook. The focus was on the Northeast Monsoon, which began on November 19th and is expected to continue until the end of March 2025, as well as the inter-monsoon period from April to the end of May 2025. This initiative is intended to facilitate public preparedness in planning and taking preliminary measures in response to varying weather conditions.
