Brunei FA Cup: DPMM FC 1 – 0 Kota Ranger FC
His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab-Rahaman watched the Brunei FA Cup 2022 football Semi-Final first leg match between DPMM FC and Kota Ranger FC. The match was held on 19th November night, at the Jerudong Park Mini Stadium. Also present were His Royal Highness’ brother, sons and daughter; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik; Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman.
DPMM FC led the match in the 22nd minute, thanks to a shot by Muhammad Hakeme Yazid Said. Kota Ranger almost equalised in the 27th minute, but Abiodun Fatai Babatunde’s goal was cancelled by the referee as Abiodun was offside. In the 33rd minute, Muhammad Shahrazen Said almost doubled the goal for DPMM FC but the ball just stopped at the opponent’s crossbar.
In injury time of the second half, Kota Ranger almost equalised but Afendi Yati Tuah’s goal was cancelled by the referee due to Afendi Yati being in an offside position.
