Brunei Children Engage in Theatre and Music for World Children’s Day Celebration.
Bandar Seri Begawan: Over 50 children participated in a series of engaging activities organized by the Brunei Council on Social Welfare, MKM, and the National Theatre Festival Brunei, NTFB, in conjunction with World Children’s Day 2024. The event took place at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports on the morning of December 1st.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was graced by the presence of Pengiran Haji Rosli bin Pengiran Haji Halus, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The celebration featured a variety of activities, including a short musical performance and several theatre workshops, which were designed to teach children basic theatre skills.
The theme for this year’s celebration was ‘Listen to the Future’, and it served as a platform for children to explore and express their creativity through the arts. The activities aimed not only to entertain but also to educate and empower young participants, providing them with an opportun
ity to develop new skills and confidence in a supportive environment.
