Australian Scientist Highlights Importance of Global Cooperation in Low Emissions Technology Seminar.


Bandar Seri Begawan: The significance of international cooperation and scientific collaboration in the development of new technologies was underscored during a seminar led by a prominent scientist from the Australian Research Organisation.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the seminar was delivered by Dr. Naswhad Haque of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation. Titled ‘Leading Edge Talk,’ the session focused on the advancement of low emissions technologies for power generation. The event was hosted by the Centre for Advanced Material and Energy Sciences in collaboration with the Australian High Commission in Brunei Darussalam and took place at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam Library.

Dr. Haque’s presentation emphasized the crucial role that scientific partnerships and global teamwork play in tackling the challenges associated with developing sustainable energy solutions. The seminar aimed to foster dialogue and collaboration between nations and research bodies to accelerate t
he progress in low emissions technology, a key component in addressing climate change and energy sustainability.
