Antonio Nebrida Jr. Appointed as New Chief of PTV

MANILA – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed Antonio Baltazar Nebrida Jr. as the new head of the state-run People’s Television Network (PTV).

According to Philippines News Agency, In an announcement made via a Facebook post by the Presidential Communications Office, President Marcos appointed Nebrida as the acting general manager and a representative of the private sector on the PTV board of directors. Nebrida, who previously served as the spokesperson for the Department of Migrant Workers under the late Secretary Susan Ople, replaces veteran broadcast journalist Analisa Puod in the role.
